For decades the liberals have used media and tragedy as a double edged sword against their enemies … conservative citizens.

This time we didn’t wait for the baseless attack, rather as the facts came out indicating that this deranged man was not in any way conservative we simply highlighted those facts.

Then on Wednesday the savior Obama ascends his pulpit and beseeches us all to reach for the higher ground, to be our best selves, to engage in civil dialogue.

I assume that being a true leader, Obama will soon repent from his sins of the past … that he will recant his dedication to “defeat his enemies” and that he will forgo his desire to determine “whose ass to kick!”

No, I’m not fooled.  While his eloquent words contained much truth the orator himself personifies his own condemnation.

He immediately jumped on “his” plane and began circling the globe to tell every dictator and socialist country that America is sorry for our sins of the past, but now we’re a new nation … One among many … a fellow sojourner in this Global Family.  When he was done with his humbling of America, Obama then began his war agenda.  It started with closing down Guantanamo and ending the unlawful war in Iraq … oops, that didn’t go so well.

Obama then turns to his domestic agenda.  Right out the gate he begins (again with great fan-faire) his Health Care Reform.  The Obama cheers once again quickly turn into jeers and his attempt to socialize our medical infrastructure is met with overwhelming opposition from We The People.  Turning a blind eye and deaf ear to the will of the people the Obama Administration literally force the bill through in the dead of the night using tactics that would make Al Capone proud.

The Obama Administration realizing that they have been a complete failure thus far in their reign decides to change tactics.  Obama now knows that We The People will not allow him to force his socialist policies on America in the light of day and with trumpets blaring, thus he decides to take his agenda off Main Street and moves it to the back alleys.

Using this new tactic Obama finds success!  His administration was able to force through the Financial Reform Bill with much less opposition.  Almost without notice Obama was able to seize control of just about every financial transaction that you and I will make.

Enjoying the success of this clandestine approach Obama is not attacking Free Speech.

The Obama Administration has complete disdain for the rule of law, evidenced by Kagan (who doesn’t believe in the Declaration of Independence) and the Administrations unprecedented fight against the good citizens of Arizona … They Must Be Stopped … I pray it’s not already too late!
 

In previous administrations there clearly were political games being played, however the Obama administration takes it to an all new level.

His administration is a prime example of why I hate politics and why liberal political policies are dangerous to you as an individual and dangerous to our nation.

We have now had a year and a half of failure and political positioning, but no leadership … no honor … no respect for the will of We The People!

The Obama administration lied about every military campaign promise … We’re still in Iraq, he expanded the war to Afghanistan, we’ve had much more casualties in Obama’s war then in Bush’s (yet for some reason the media is no longer providing us with a daily death count and pictures of flag-draped coffins).  And, Guantanamo is still open for business!

The Obama administration has worsened the economy with unemployment continuing to climb.  If you look at the “real” unemployment rate (factoring in those who have given up, or are underemployed) the current unemployment numbers are exactly where they were during the Great Depression!

The Obama administration has failed in handling illegal human migration.  In fact he is now initiating an unnecessary legal battle against the State of Arizona for trying to enforce existing federal immigration law.  All this for, as the Washington Post states, positioning for the youth and minority vote in this fall’s elections.

The Obama administration has failed at protecting our environment.  He has refused foreign help that probably could have cleaned up the Obama oil disaster within months.  He has refused existing American technology that could clean up the mess.  He has refused to allow the local government take actions to keep the Obama oil from coming to shore … (Why does Obama hate the environment?)

So what has the Obama administration accomplished?

• Obama has killed more troops, prolonged the war and kept Guantanamo open
  
• Obama has encouraged, even strategically destroyed our economy.
  
• Obama has potentially begun a civil war over the illegal human migration issue.
  
• Obama has made our environment more hostile to life.
  

Not bad in just a year and a half.  I can’t wait to see what happens during the rest of his term.  At this pace we’ll have no more youth because Obama will have killed them all in his war, there will be no more private enterprise because the government will own or control all economic transactions (this is precisely what the new financial reform bill establishes), we will have become part of the new global family without borders, and we will be living in putrid waste from his disdain of a clean environment.

In this case, President Obama will solve the Bush Administration’s problem in Guantanamo which was “hasty” “based on fear” “poorly planned” “setting principles aside” “ad hoc legal system that is neither effective nor sustainable” with his own fear based, hasty, poorly planned as hoc legal system that sets the rule of law and principles aside.

It’s like I’m clairvoyant!

Obama uses the same tactics that an abusive spouse uses!

Any good magician knows that in order to successfully dupe his watching audience he must divert their collective attention away from the weakness of his illusion by providing a naturally appearing, eye-catching distraction.

After the first week of carefully timed releases of the Acorn investigative videos from Veritas Visuals the White House realized that they must re-arrange the deck chairs on their Titanic quickly before their unsinkable ship tears apart.  Obama’s ties with Acorn and its subsidiaries are undeniable.  And on the heels of the Van Jones scandal, health care debacle, and free-falling approval ratings he realized that his publically funded dream of a “fundamentally” new America is quickly slipping thorough his hands.

The irony, no, the hypocrisy is that Obama has the unique opportunity to free America from its deplorable history of slavery and the other intolerable racially motivated events of our past (such as the all but forgotten Chinese Exclusion Act).  If he truly desired to put that behind the corporate conscious of America and move forward into a racially blind future he could, simply and strongly on behalf of all the victims of racism, accept the apologies previously provided by corporations, organizations and even former Presidents.  One masterfully crafted and presented speech from Obama could heal the old wounds and apply a salve to the remaining festering injuries.

Obama won’t do that though, not simply because he believes that Joe Wilsons comments were in fact racially motivated, but because it provides him with an opportunity to use what is perhaps the most explosive issue in America to both draw attention away from his close ties to the illegal and unethical business practices of Acorn and its sister organizations, and to silence all opposing points of view by simply declaring them “racist.”

Unfortunately for Obama and his administration, they are grossly underestimating the resolve of the 1.5 million American citizens who descended on DC last weekend and the billions of patriots they represent.  You can call us names, you can dismiss our ideas, you can ignore our petitions … but we will be heard!  Moreover we will have the last word when we vote out of office every politician (BOTH DEMOCRAT AND REPUBLICAN) who does not uphold and defend the Constitution of The United States from all enemies foreign and domestic.

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don’t understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and ‘class’, always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the ‘blame America’ crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer ‘wind mills’ to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use ‘extortion’ tactics against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O’Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Apparently it’s okay for our President to call citizens and members of his opposing party liars, however the opposite is unacceptable and partisan.  Obama said that Sara Palin’s comments about his plan “a lie, plain and simple.”

Our nation was founded by brave men and women willing to stand up against the tyranny and lies of her political leaders.  Congressman Wilson has nothing to apologize for, he did nothing inappropriate … The other elected officials in that hall should be apologizing for not rising to their feet in support of Wilson … in defense of “we the people!”

Mr. Wilson, never apologize for allowing your love of truth to overrun your desire to be polite.  If America is to remain as a beacon of light and hope to this troubled world we must be willing to stand for truth.  It is the liar who must apologize not the one who identifies the liar!

Freedom of Speech is quickly eroding with the White House now encouraging citizens to report to the government when they hear another citizen say something (even in "casual conversation") contrary to what the Obama administration is putting out.

Lest you feel the need to report me, here are the exact words from the White House:

Our government decided that it was the right of every one to own a house.  They created Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac as a way for the federal government to force it’s charity on we the people.  In order to ensure their dream, Congress mandated that lending institutions lower their qualifying standards so that more people could qualify for a mortgage loan.  In doing so, the banks and other lending institutions were required to underwrite loans for people who clearly did not qualify.  These “troubled assets” were then packaged and sold as mortgage backed securities on the secondary market.

We’re all painfully aware of the result of our governments “compassion” … the collapse of real estate and the mortgage industry, lenders going out of business, banks and lending institutions going bankrupt, families losing their homes to foreclosure, tighter lending regulations, and on it goes …

The government’s cure for the crisis they created was to force all banks to accept “bail out money.”  The institutions that did not need it like Wells Fargo, were forced to take the hand out.  The reasoning from the Bush administration was that if some banks took the money while others did not, those who took it would appear to be in trouble and customers would pull their money out of those banks causing a catch-22 for those lenders.

Then along comes the Obama administration which saw an opportunity to grab power from the battered banks.  Step 1 was to demonize the evil and greedy bank CEO’s and boards lying that their desire for profits made them issue these loans.  Step 2 was to secure as much control over the banking industry using a two-fold scheme.  The government first began to impose its will on the banks reminding them that they took the tax payers bail out money and thus are now required to acquiesce to the governments desires; then trying to intimidate the banks into compliance by conducting dog-and-pony “stress tests” as if attorneys and congressmen understood the intricacies of the banking industry better then the banks themselves.

Now we find ourselves in a situation where the Obama administration owns or controls major parts of the auto industry and they have a vested interest in selling cars and doing it “green.”

Like the Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac fiasco the government is in control of another industry.  And like the arrogance demonstrated previously the government, they believe they know better than the experts in the field.  And, like their forced “compassion” of issuing mortgage notes to people who could not afford them, they are now forcing auto dealers to front money for each car turned in under this new ponzi scheme trusting that the government will repay them, that the new car owner can afford their new car payment during the coming months of hyper-inflation, and trusting that when people begin to default on their auto loans that the banks, lending institutions, and this time around, the auto dealers will have enough assets to keep from going under themselves.

Surely when this new crisis hits there will be another round of villains (the lenders and auto dealers) and another government power grab (because the auto industry is too big to fail) and another layer of government employees and programs to tax us for … but of course it is naive to think that free markets and capitalism can fix these problems because we need the government to protect us from ourselves.

The problem is that the intention of his words were not to be taken literally and acted upon, but rather to make people feel better about themselves and think that he and his government supports them.  As a result people have taken action.  Thousands of people in Iran have taken to the streets initially to protest an apparent unfair election result, and has now turned into perhaps the birth of a revolution in the middle-east.

Based on President Obama’s words thousands are now attempting to fight for their freedom, but without support.  It’s like local law enforcement telling a neighborhood they will help them overcome an oppressive street gang, then ignoring the efforts of the citizens as they attempt to take the streets back and re-claim their neighborhood.

This is the realization of the truth expressed in the Hebrew proverb “the compassion of the wicked is cruel.” (Proverbs 12:10)

Update 06/23/09

The intent of my above comments is to point out the problem of "Thoughtless compassion" using President Obama’s reaction to the Iran issue as an example of it.

My observation above is accurate and remains intact, but I want to acknowledge President Obama’s press conference today.  I believe his comments today were supportive of those fighting for freedom in Iran. While Mr. Obama’s comments are neither stern nor timley (about a week late) he did clearly support the actions of those protesting and condem the suppression of the government.
