Moreover, these states also suffer the greatest casualties from gangs, drug trafficking and human trafficking.  If it’s this easy for thugs to illegally cross the border undetected how much more is it for terrorists who plan for years their strategies?

We must deal swiftly and resolutely with the border issue for our security and economic survival.  However we also need to figure out what to do with those illegal immigrants who have come here just to work and have been here for many years.  Many of them have raised families, which adds to the economic burden but must be acknowledged.

The crime of illegally immigrating to the United States must be punished, and it can be done in a humane way using common sense and justice.  Here’s my simple idea:

1. If you’ve been here for less than 10 years with no criminal history you get deported with an option to return legally.

2. If you have been convicted of any felony you get deported and refused re-entry permanently.

3. If you’ve been here for longer than 10 years with no criminal history you are given temporary transitional visas under the following guidelines:

• You must acquire legal residency within 5 years
• You’re wages are garnished for back taxes of $4,000 per year, split evenly between the state and federal government (that would be equivalent to what they would have paid in federal taxes if they earned about $27,000 annually)
• Any felony conviction results in immediate deportation with permanently refused re-entry

I’m sure this plan is not perfect, but let’s bring some sanity to this problem and solve it!
 

My dear young friend, It’s not a “bubble” it’s a value system.  If someone is Republican they might be either liberal or conservative.

If you are liberal you believe that the federal government has the primary responsibility to protect you and provide for your needs.  They believe we are protected by government regulations, and we are provided for by taking money out of your paycheck and giving some of the money you’ve earned to other people.

If you are conservative you believe that the federal government’s responsibilities are outlined and limited to what is in the Constitution and the subsequent Amendments.  Specifically:

• Protecting citizens God-given rights (on-going)
• National Defense (on-going)
  
• Establishing Federal Courts (done)
  
• Copyright Protection (on-going)
  
• Establishing a national set of weights and measures (done)
  
• Establishing Post Office (on-going)
  

Everything else should be taken care of by the individual citizen or the state government.

The problem with getting outside a “bubble” is that requires destroying the bubble … and that bubble can never be restored.

If you think that you should make the decision about who to help with your money and how much you should give them, then you my young friend are not liberal, you are conservative.

But they have a crusade.  They’re true believers and will stop at nothing to get their point across.

Yesterday they stormed the Port of Longview which “plays an important role in economic development by creating jobs in manufacturing and international trade. It develops infrastructure to support these jobs at its marine terminals and industrial property, creating a positive economic ripple that strengthens the local community.” (Port of Longview website)

They held six guards hostage for hours, vandalized thousands of dollars worth of property, and dumped needed and valuable grain.

Who were these terrorists?  Radical Muslims?  Eco-Terrorists?  Tea Party?  No … it was the International Longshore and Warehouse Union!

• Of course no arrests were made!
  
• No mention of this domestic terrorist incident in the national news! (here’s a local report)
  
• No condemnation by any politicians!
  

In fact it’s only aluminum foil-hat-wearing basement bloggers like me reporting on this.

If this act of terrorism was carried out by any other group it would be national headlines.  If it was the Tea Party demands for arrests and federal indictments would be immediate.  I would have to go into my bomb shelter and lock the bank vault security door behind me.  Other conservatives would be rounded up and sent to Guantanamo Bay (or did Obama shut that down like he said he would during his campaign … oh no, he didn’t.  Yet another lie, but I digress)

These domestic terrorist organizations we call Unions have free reign to do and say whatever they like because they give money to politicians in both parties … it’s as simple as that!

Perhaps our war on terrorism needs to shift focus from the middle east to DC.

As we move into the Christmas season I felt it necessary to look more closely at the nature of the “separation of church and state” demonstrated in this proclamation approved by the House and the Senate and presented by the President.

"Whereas it is the duty of all nations to
acknowledge the providence of Almighty God,

• to obey His will,
• to be grateful for His benefits,
• and humbly to implore His protection and favor;
  

And Whereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to "recommend to the people of the United States

to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God,

especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness:"

the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficent author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be;

that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation;

for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility,

and plenty which we have since enjoyed;

for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish constitutions of government for our safety and happiness,

and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best."

This is important because most conservatives agree that in order to preserve our Republic and the Liberties it ensures, the most efficient option is to take control of the heart of the Republican party … not for the sake of bolstering that political party, but rather to use it as an essential tool to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic.

The introduction to the GOP “Pledge to America” is both insightful and illustrative of the problem in American politics today.

Less than one week after a speech by President Obama in which he quoted The Declaration of Independence but censored it leaving out the reference to our “Creator” the Republicans engage in their own censorship of that founding document.

The Pledge to America interestingly leaves out the fact that we are endowed by our Creator with “certain” unalienable rights; “that among these are …”  Our Founders included Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness as three examples of the self-evident rights granted to us by God, not as an exhaustive list.

More telling of our times though is what comes next … “Whenever the agenda of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to institute a new governing agenda and set a different course.” (GOP Pledge to America)

Apparently the Republican Party needs a little history lesson.  The Declaration of Independence was not a document suggesting a tweaking of the current political agenda.  The document states; “whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government”

What the Republican Party and the Democratic Party are refusing to acknowledge is that We The People, the citizens of this great nation are fed up with the politics from both sides of the isle!

They have developed what is in essence a two party ruling class, unaccountable and arrogant … IF they continue to "rule" in a manner destructive to our liberties we will "alter or abolish" them and "institute a new government"!

Now, having been admittedly a little nit-picky, for the most part the tone and statements in the introduction are refreshing, and yes, even a bit inspiring.  I am encouraged that the Tenth Amendment is highlighted and even by some of the iconic sound-bite statements regarding our founding and core American values.

However, the introduction ends with their call to “invite fellow citizens and patriots to join us in forming a new governing agenda for America.”  My warning to the GOP is that as a political party they must be aware of the fact that the Republican party is not America’s saving grace … The Republican party at this point is simply a useful idiot that will either help facilitate liberty for all American citizens or will be swept under the bridge of history as another party that failed to live up to its rhetoric.

He rightly affirms that we are in a battle to sustain Liberty for Americans against soft tyranny, not a battle between Democrats and Republicans.

Other strategists advise to vote for the most conservative candidate on the ticket “who can win.”  That’s just the new version of “plug your nose and vote” or “vote for the lesser of two evils.”

If we’ve learned anything in California it should be that this strategy fails!

In fact I will push Limbaugh’s Doctrine just a bit further.  Vote for the most conservative conservative candidate on the ticket regardless of party affiliation.

Take a breath … I know some of you right now are beginning to steam up.

First I think it’s important to identify that the candidate must be “conservative” not simply “the most conservative” otherwise you may still be voting for the lesser of two evils.

Second, I included regardless of party affiliation because your conservative candidate might not be running with an “R” after their name.

Our strategy must serve to accomplish our goal … vote “for” a candidate not “against” one.

He immediately jumped on “his” plane and began circling the globe to tell every dictator and socialist country that America is sorry for our sins of the past, but now we’re a new nation … One among many … a fellow sojourner in this Global Family.  When he was done with his humbling of America, Obama then began his war agenda.  It started with closing down Guantanamo and ending the unlawful war in Iraq … oops, that didn’t go so well.

Obama then turns to his domestic agenda.  Right out the gate he begins (again with great fan-faire) his Health Care Reform.  The Obama cheers once again quickly turn into jeers and his attempt to socialize our medical infrastructure is met with overwhelming opposition from We The People.  Turning a blind eye and deaf ear to the will of the people the Obama Administration literally force the bill through in the dead of the night using tactics that would make Al Capone proud.

The Obama Administration realizing that they have been a complete failure thus far in their reign decides to change tactics.  Obama now knows that We The People will not allow him to force his socialist policies on America in the light of day and with trumpets blaring, thus he decides to take his agenda off Main Street and moves it to the back alleys.

Using this new tactic Obama finds success!  His administration was able to force through the Financial Reform Bill with much less opposition.  Almost without notice Obama was able to seize control of just about every financial transaction that you and I will make.

Enjoying the success of this clandestine approach Obama is not attacking Free Speech.

The Obama Administration has complete disdain for the rule of law, evidenced by Kagan (who doesn’t believe in the Declaration of Independence) and the Administrations unprecedented fight against the good citizens of Arizona … They Must Be Stopped … I pray it’s not already too late!
 

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates, when asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. ‘Very few people were true Nazis,’ he said, ‘but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care.. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.’

We are told again and again by ‘experts’ and ‘talking heads’ that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march… It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the ‘silent majority,’ is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China’s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were ‘peace loving’?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:

Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and  many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts — the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and send it on – before it’s too late.

Just a few months ago the great state of Massachusetts was the seat of conservative excitement as a Republican Scott Brown took the “Kennedy seat.”  Cheers of hope from those of us desperately seeking candidates who will begin to return America back to a land of freedom and opportunity for all … Confusion and dismay from liberals who just saw the end of the 47 year Democrat reign in that state.

However just like the groaning from California with its “Republican” Governor Schwarzenegger who will be followed by another liberal in the form of either Jerry Brown or Meg Whitman, the good citizens of Massachusetts … no, the good citizens of the entire country have been let down.

We have been let down by Republicans who will now allow the Federal Government to grab control of almost our entire economy, to regulate just about every financial transaction that you and I make, and to do that all while ensuring that those who actually caused our current financial disaster are not only free, but empowered to continue in their unethical and clandestine schemes.

The three Republicans are Susan Collins (R-Maine), Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) and Scott Brown (R-Massachusetts).  However it’s not just these three traitors who are allowing our government unprecedented and un-Constitutional control of We The People … no, it’s also all the Democrats who are blindly following their demented leaders.

The Obama administration controls our right to “Life” with the Health Care Reform Bill … They are now taking control of our right of the “Pursuit of Happiness” with this Financial Reform Bill … Next is our “Liberty” … But then again, this from the man who is pushing through a candidate for the Supreme Court who doesn’t believe in the Declaration of Independence, so we shouldn’t be surprised!

As President Lincoln stated in this Inaugural Address, March 4, 1861:
"The Union is much older than the Constitution. It was formed in fact, by the Articles of Association in 1774. It was matured and continued by the Declaration of Independence in 1776."

J.M. Balkin, Professor of Constitutional Law and the First Amendment, Yale Law School wrote:
“What is the point of constitutional government in the United States of America? It is the eventual redemption in history of the principles of our founding document. I do not mean the written Constitution of 1787. I mean the Declaration of Independence of 1776. American constitutionalism is and must be a commitment to the promises the Declaration makes about our future as a people. Our country sprang forth from a revolution in political and social structure. The Declaration explains the point of that revolution, and hence the point of our constitutional enterprise.”

Perhaps Kagan’s opposition to the Declaration of Independence exposes the fact that while liberals claim to support the fact that all men are created equal, they neither legislate nor rule in accordance with this stated belief.

Lincoln said, “On the question of liberty, as a principle, we are not what we have been. When we were the political slaves of King George, and wanted to be free, we called the maxim that "all men are created equal" a self evident truth; but now when we have grown fat, and have lost all dread of being slaves ourselves, we have become so greedy to be masters that we call the same maxim "a self evident lie."

One of the key differences between the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution is that it is the Declaration of Independence that affirms that we are “all men are created equal” and endowed by our “Creator” with unalienable rights.

Kagan and the Obama administration will strip away our individual rights because they believe it is not God who grants rights but government.  Thus Government decides who is allowed rights and under what conditions.

This is exactly why our nation was founded, this is what the Declaration of Independence is fighting against, this is why the Obama Administration will nullify the Declaration of Independence … And this is why we must resist tyranny!

In this case, President Obama will solve the Bush Administration’s problem in Guantanamo which was “hasty” “based on fear” “poorly planned” “setting principles aside” “ad hoc legal system that is neither effective nor sustainable” with his own fear based, hasty, poorly planned as hoc legal system that sets the rule of law and principles aside.
