Many people have asked me who I’m voting for as Governor for California. This is a difficult problem for many conservative voters and Republicans alike.

My GOP friends are surprisingly still using the tried and failed logic of “voting for the lesser of two evils.”

Recent history teaches us that this line of reasoning does not work, Moreover ethics demands that you don’t vote for evil to avoid evil, Finally common sense tells us that if you vote for the lesser of two evils you still have evil … So I really don’t understand why the Republican party began to use this line of reasoning, nor do I understand why they insist on holding on to it with their (literal) death grip.

I believe that the California Democratic Party understands the strategy for this race … and in my opinion they win either way.

Once they realized that the GOP was going to back Whitman the Dem’s hoisted up their throw-a-way candidate Jerry Brown. Their thinking must be that if Whitman wins they will still be able to get their liberal policies through just like they have with our current Governor. Additionally if things continue to deteriorate in California the Democratic Party has an easy target and scape-goat … “Hey the Republicans have been in office during the last two terms and have screwed up the state” will be their rally cry.

I will not vote for the lesser of two evils … Moreover, Whitman is not conservative thus I would not vote for her anyway … I don’t care about propping up the Republican Party!

It’s time to stop listening to the marketing slogans from both political parties and vote your conscience! That’s what I’m going to do!

The Republicans have come out with their “Pledge to America.” I will take my time and go through this document providing my thoughts to you as I go.

This is important because most conservatives agree that in order to preserve our Republic and the Liberties it ensures, the most efficient option is to take control of the heart of the Republican party … not for the sake of bolstering that political party, but rather to use it as an essential tool to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic.

The introduction to the GOP “Pledge to America” is both insightful and illustrative of the problem in American politics today.

Less than one week after a speech by President Obama in which he quoted The Declaration of Independence but censored it leaving out the reference to our “Creator” the Republicans engage in their own censorship of that founding document.

The Pledge to America interestingly leaves out the fact that we are endowed by our Creator with “certain” unalienable rights; “that among these are …” Our Founders included Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness as three examples of the self-evident rights granted to us by God, not as an exhaustive list.

More telling of our times though is what comes next … “Whenever the agenda of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to institute a new governing agenda and set a different course.” (GOP Pledge to America)

Apparently the Republican Party needs a little history lesson. The Declaration of Independence was not a document suggesting a tweaking of the current political agenda. The document states; “whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government”

What the Republican Party and the Democratic Party are refusing to acknowledge is that We The People, the citizens of this great nation are fed up with the politics from both sides of the isle!

They have developed what is in essence a two party ruling class, unaccountable and arrogant … IF they continue to "rule" in a manner destructive to our liberties we will "alter or abolish" them and "institute a new government"!

Now, having been admittedly a little nit-picky, for the most part the tone and statements in the introduction are refreshing, and yes, even a bit inspiring. I am encouraged that the Tenth Amendment is highlighted and even by some of the iconic sound-bite statements regarding our founding and core American values.

However, the introduction ends with their call to “invite fellow citizens and patriots to join us in forming a new governing agenda for America.” My warning to the GOP is that as a political party they must be aware of the fact that the Republican party is not America’s saving grace … The Republican party at this point is simply a useful idiot that will either help facilitate liberty for all American citizens or will be swept under the bridge of history as another party that failed to live up to its rhetoric.

The new Limbaugh Doctrine is: Vote for the most conservative candidate on the ticket.

He rightly affirms that we are in a battle to sustain Liberty for Americans against soft tyranny, not a battle between Democrats and Republicans.

Other strategists advise to vote for the most conservative candidate on the ticket “who can win.” That’s just the new version of “plug your nose and vote” or “vote for the lesser of two evils.”

If we’ve learned anything in California it should be that this strategy fails!

In fact I will push Limbaugh’s Doctrine just a bit further. Vote for the most conservative conservative candidate on the ticket regardless of party affiliation.

Take a breath … I know some of you right now are beginning to steam up.

First I think it’s important to identify that the candidate must be “conservative” not simply “the most conservative” otherwise you may still be voting for the lesser of two evils.

Second, I included regardless of party affiliation because your conservative candidate might not be running with an “R” after their name.

Our strategy must serve to accomplish our goal … vote “for” a candidate not “against” one.

His administration is a prime example of why I hate politics and why liberal political policies are dangerous to you as an individual and dangerous to our nation.

We have now had a year and a half of failure and political positioning, but no leadership … no honor … no respect for the will of We The People!

The Obama administration lied about every military campaign promise … We’re still in Iraq, he expanded the war to Afghanistan, we’ve had much more casualties in Obama’s war then in Bush’s (yet for some reason the media is no longer providing us with a daily death count and pictures of flag-draped coffins). And, Guantanamo is still open for business!

The Obama administration has worsened the economy with unemployment continuing to climb. If you look at the “real” unemployment rate (factoring in those who have given up, or are underemployed) the current unemployment numbers are exactly where they were during the Great Depression!

The Obama administration has failed in handling illegal human migration. In fact he is now initiating an unnecessary legal battle against the State of Arizona for trying to enforce existing federal immigration law. All this for, as the Washington Post states, positioning for the youth and minority vote in this fall’s elections.

The Obama administration has failed at protecting our environment. He has refused foreign help that probably could have cleaned up the Obama oil disaster within months. He has refused existing American technology that could clean up the mess. He has refused to allow the local government take actions to keep the Obama oil from coming to shore … (Why does Obama hate the environment?)

So what has the Obama administration accomplished?

Obama has killed more troops, prolonged the war and kept Guantanamo open

Obama has encouraged, even strategically destroyed our economy.

Obama has potentially begun a civil war over the illegal human migration issue.

Obama has made our environment more hostile to life.

Not bad in just a year and a half. I can’t wait to see what happens during the rest of his term. At this pace we’ll have no more youth because Obama will have killed them all in his war, there will be no more private enterprise because the government will own or control all economic transactions (this is precisely what the new financial reform bill establishes), we will have become part of the new global family without borders, and we will be living in putrid waste from his disdain of a clean environment.

Kagan does not believe that our Declaration of Independence has the force of law in the United States. Clearly she lacks the fundamental understanding of our nation’s founding and its subsequent laws.

As President Lincoln stated in this Inaugural Address, March 4, 1861:
"The Union is much older than the Constitution. It was formed in fact, by the Articles of Association in 1774. It was matured and continued by the Declaration of Independence in 1776."

J.M. Balkin, Professor of Constitutional Law and the First Amendment, Yale Law School wrote:
“What is the point of constitutional government in the United States of America? It is the eventual redemption in history of the principles of our founding document. I do not mean the written Constitution of 1787. I mean the Declaration of Independence of 1776. American constitutionalism is and must be a commitment to the promises the Declaration makes about our future as a people. Our country sprang forth from a revolution in political and social structure. The Declaration explains the point of that revolution, and hence the point of our constitutional enterprise.”

Perhaps Kagan’s opposition to the Declaration of Independence exposes the fact that while liberals claim to support the fact that all men are created equal, they neither legislate nor rule in accordance with this stated belief.

Lincoln said, “On the question of liberty, as a principle, we are not what we have been. When we were the political slaves of King George, and wanted to be free, we called the maxim that "all men are created equal" a self evident truth; but now when we have grown fat, and have lost all dread of being slaves ourselves, we have become so greedy to be masters that we call the same maxim "a self evident lie."
–August 15, 1855 Letter to George Robertson

One of the key differences between the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution is that it is the Declaration of Independence that affirms that we are “all men are created equal” and endowed by our “Creator” with unalienable rights.

Kagan and the Obama administration will strip away our individual rights because they believe it is not God who grants rights but government. Thus Government decides who is allowed rights and under what conditions.

This is exactly why our nation was founded, this is what the Declaration of Independence is fighting against, this is why the Obama Administration will nullify the Declaration of Independence … And this is why we must resist tyranny!

Once again I’m sickened by the hypocrisy of politicians, America’s new "Ruling Class." Today they have passed the Financial Reform bill out of committee which is expected to be sitting on President Obama’s desk to sign into law on … of all days … Independence Day, July 4th 2010

The thought of politicians telling Wall Street how to do their job is disconcerting. Moreover the hypocrisy of the Obama administration is deafening. While this bill goes to great measures to limit banks to trade in derivatives, this same administration is running full speed into the greatest global derivative farce ever conceived via Cap and Trade (or whatever it ends up being called) where the government will control the trade of fiat derivatives called carbon emissions.

But not only is this administration hypocritical, it is also disingenuous.

This new Financial Reform bill will not eliminate banks practice of derivative trading, no rather the bank just has to form a separate entity through with to engage in this type of trading … Now that’s fixing the problem!

Before your eyes glass over with all this talk about banking, trading and derivatives, according to Senator Chris Dodd, a chief architect of this bill, “This is about as important as it gets, because it deals with every single aspect of your lives.”

This “Financial Reform” bill doesn’t only affect those “Fat Cat Greedy Bankers” that Obama has pronounced as the cause of our current economic state … No, this bill will allow the Fed and our government control over just about every financial transaction that you engage in!

We all got stirred up over Health Care Reform that will have some effect on many of us … Our lawmakers now have just passed a bill that will give the government control of your personal finances! Health Care Reform gave government control over your body, now Financial Reform gives government control over your money … next is your religion via free speech and political correctness …

To all the politicians reading this message … It would be nice to have a regular paycheck, medical benefits and a thriving economy, But It Is Essential To Have Freedom!

We are not mad because our economy is in shambles, or because we have inequitable health care, or because we’re still looking for jobs, or because we had to shut down our small business, or because other nations don’t like us, or because of any other political answer.

We are mad because we voted you into office, pay you a generous salary, provide you with exceptional benefits, and take care of all your transportation needs, and you refuse to listen to our voice … You refuse to represent our will …You refuse to protect and defend our Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic.

We are not concerned about the survival of your political party, but we will fight for the survival of our Liberty!

A couple years ago I went to the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. I remember hearing from a holocaust survivor and reading about the tactics Hitler used to turn public sentiment against the Jews. He blamed them for the economic troubles that his nation was having. He called them pejorative names. He lied about their motivations and the true causes of his nation’s problems.

When I saw this interview with Obama on 60 minutes my mind immediately went back to what I learned about Hitler and how he demonized a race of people for his own political gain and to ultimately accomplish his sick plan to fundamentally change his country and the world.

In this interview President Obama called the CEO’s of our nations banks "Fat Cat Bankers" and said that they "just don’t get it" claiming that "You guys caused the problem."

Clearly the banking industry and especially the Federal Reserve have a significant role in our current problems. However Obama, like Hitler two generations ago is using mass psychological tactics to cover up the economic destruction that both political parties have created, and to push his self-serving agenda on We The People.

If we simply allow both political parties to play this ridiculous blame-and-cover game we will sentence our children and grandchildren to lives of slavery to our government. Proverbs 22:7 states “The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.” We have slowly become a nation of citizens who are indebted to the government. Moreover, we have slowly allowed our government to enslave us through tax payer funded social programs … We are funding our own demise!

Our nation is upside down and needs to be turned right side up again.
