A casual observer of local and national news is inundated with confusing and false information concerning what the "Tea Party" movement is all about.

The purpose of this site is two-fold:

  1. To serve as a roundtable for the sharing of ideas and thoughts of those who would align themselves with the values and purpose of the Tea Party Movement.
  2. To provide clarity to those who want to know what this Tea Party “thing” is all about.

This site, like the Tea Party movement itself, is yours.

This is not a megaphone from which I can announce my opinions; Rather it is a meeting place.  Much like our “Founding Fathers” met in places like Faneuil Hall in 1773 … Today’s “Sustaining Fathers” meet here for mutual support, encouragement and challenge.

Many people these days seem to enjoy verbally sparring over the political issue of the day.  It seems that some people are content to voice their opinion, claim victory in the debate and move on to the next task of the day.  On the other hand there are some who not concerned with moving the intellect of others, but are rather in favor of taking action to implement their worldview at all costs.

These people vary from politically conservative to liberal, religiously earnest to atheistic, socially popular or principled.  My motivation is not to advance a political party, social issue or even a religious sect.  To me it is a matter of my responsibility to my children.

If I believe that the current state of affairs is changing America in a way that is detrimental to my children and their descendents (and I do) then it would be morally reprehensible for me to not do all I can to affect positive change.
