Government Bail Out’s Are Anti American (click here)

by Chris | June 2nd, 2009

Our nation is unique in that we the people are the "boss" of our government.  The President is not our King or CEO.  Our elected officials are not our employer or boss.  In fact it is the exact opposite.  They are to do our bidding and if they don’t we remove them from office.

Now that our government has decided to reach beyond it’s authority and become owners of private companies in effect our government is now the "boss" of those companies.

This is precisely what our founding fathers fought against.  There are a plethora of reasons why this is both a bad idea and anti-American.  Besides the efficiency and quality issues (government is incapable of running an efficient and quality enterprise) … Government ownership and control of businesses is contrary to the principles upon which our nation was founded.

When government takes over private companies that erodes our right of private property.  When our right to private property is reduced so is our rights to life and liberty.
