Private Property is another concern for Conservatives involved in the Tea Party movement.
Our government has over the past several decades has slowly eroded our rights to private ownership. This not only applies to real estate and guns, but to intellectual property and all other “things” owned by citizens of this great country.
Citizen ownership of private property without the interference or control of our federal government is essential to a free and prosperous nation.
This issue has been evidenced in the recent control our government has taken in Real Estate (Freddie Mac, Fanny Mae), Industry (GM), Finance (all the banks), Education, et. al.
We cannot be a free people when our government does not allow for citizens to exercise their right of private property.
